My experience in community land projects is expansive and includes, but is not limited to, these hard skills:
■ Connecting interested buyers and sellers: I will plan and implement contact and introductions that entice engagement. My work will identify interested parties and unite them to create momentum around a project.■ Positioning land for purchase and sale: I engage in real estate negotiation and understand public procedures for acquiring and conveying land.
■ Exchanging properties and working with partial land interests: I have successfully positioned land swaps, 1031 land exchanges, property partitions, and designed conservation easements and other forms of partial land interests to meet the needs of buyers and sellers.
■ Managing due diligence procedures: I have an intricate understanding of the requirements necessary for closing real estate projects when public funding is involved, including appraisal process management, property title review, and environmental condition assessment.
■ Funding the purchase of community real estate: I can work with you to navigate internal funding procedures and advise on available grant funding and application development. I am skilled in coordinated multi-party investments and can support bond campaign or other ballot measure development.
